Who We Are
Pacific West Performing Arts opened in 2004 under the direction of Kelly Charlton. In 2018, Kelly decided it was time to step back and bring on new leadership to PacWest, selling PacWest to then Teacher, now owner, Ian Howe. In 2020 Ian brought on the then Operations Manager, now Co-Owner Sydney Arango. Sydney and Ian’s commitment to build upon the legacy that Kelly started at PacWest is vital to their visions going forward. PacWest was founded on the idea that that one’s passion for dance can be learned and flourish. Sydney and Ian are continuing that idea by bringing on the best and moreover the most passionate teachers, who want to share their love of dance. They must not only be great dancers and great choreographers, but they must be true educators all the way to their core. PacWest offers classes for every age and ability level and in every dance genre possible. Whether a child becomes a professional dancer or simply finds an appreciation for physical and artistic work, all dancers find their own vibe at PacWest.
